What is Norseman?

Norseman Xtreme Triathlon is a full-distance triathlon in Norway, 226 km in total. The race starts with a jump from a ferry into the Hardangerfjord and a 3.8 km swim to shore in Eidfjord. Then follows 180 km on the bike with more than 3,000 metres of climbing, and a 42.2 km run that ends with the climb to Gaustatoppen.
